[00:00:00] So you signed up for my next two-day virtual bootcamp in January? If not, what the heck are you thinking?
[00:00:05] If you've got any interest at all in this multifamily real estate business, for God's sakes, come spend two days with me.
[00:00:11] There are incredible opportunities coming because of these interest rates and the price is ridiculously reasonable.
[00:00:16] Prices are going up soon. Now I don't sell anything there. It's 16 to 18 hours of learning this business and nothing's being sold.
[00:00:24] It's a duh. It's really a no-brainer. And I teach every aspect of this business. When you leave, you'll know how to build your team, how to find deals, how to evaluate those deals, how to raise all the money you need for those deals,
[00:00:35] how to finance those deals, how to do the due diligence and how to create a syndication or a joint venture and so on and so forth, even the property management.
[00:00:44] Every aspect of this business is trained. And we'll have panels both days to answer all your questions.
[00:00:48] I'll tell you, somewhere between two to $3 billion in properties represented by the panelists that are answering your questions.
[00:00:55] Now people rave about these events. In fact, the only complaint I've ever gotten is the breaks are too short because I'm packing in so much information.
[00:01:02] Text the word bootcamp to 72345 or go to rodsbootcamp.com and I'll send you the information on the bootcamp.
[00:01:10] Again, text bootcamp to 72345 right now or go to rodsbootcamp.com and I promise you'll be glad you came. I'll see you there.
[00:01:19] All right, let's get to it. Today, let's talk about the power that comes from innovation.
[00:01:22] So what is innovation? Basically, innovation is creating or doing something new.
[00:01:27] It's thinking outside the box to make things better with a new method or idea.
[00:01:32] Now we hear all the time about the importance of being innovative in business, about being one step ahead of everybody else and bringing into reality,
[00:01:40] a particular vision of the future. Innovation is where imagination meets hard work and determination.
[00:01:47] Now I'm all about having vision. In fact, I've got multiple vision boards in my office that help inspire and motivate me.
[00:01:53] I've got vision boards for business, for relationships, for philanthropy I want to do, for personal things that I want.
[00:01:59] You see, having a vision for your future is actually a creative endeavor in and by itself.
[00:02:04] Being an innovator means bringing that new creative vision to life.
[00:02:08] And here's a secret to innovating I'd encourage you to embrace and that is there's no innovation without failure.
[00:02:14] No one hits a home run the first time they step up to plate.
[00:02:17] And it's the same way with innovation. Innovation is only achieved through trial and error and consistent effort.
[00:02:23] You know, innovation is like a muscle that you have to exercise regularly.
[00:02:26] So what areas should you be innovative in? Let's start with business.
[00:02:29] You know, what new ideas are you working on to innovate your business or where you work?
[00:02:34] You know, I remember I had to innovate very quickly when COVID hit because we were scheduled to have 800 people attend a live boot camp in Orlando.
[00:02:41] And we had to quickly innovate and go to live stream online.
[00:02:46] You know, which has been a huge success for us.
[00:02:49] We've had thousands and thousands of people attend our online virtual boot camps.
[00:02:53] And as I mentioned earlier, I've got one coming up in January, but there's so much incredible innovation happening around the world right now with AI and everything else.
[00:03:01] And frankly, if you don't innovate, you could be left behind.
[00:03:04] Honestly, in my opinion, any business that doesn't innovate will definitely decline.
[00:03:08] And as quickly as things are changing, that decline can happen very quickly.
[00:03:12] You know, billionaire Peter Gruber is famous for saying the two most important things in any business are marketing and innovation.
[00:03:19] You know, I just love to look at some of the incredible innovations that we've experienced so far in our lifetime,
[00:03:24] like Uber and Uber Eats and Airbnb and Tesla and on and on.
[00:03:29] In fact, being creative with how you structure a deal on a property would cause you to be an innovator in this multifamily real estate space.
[00:03:37] You've certainly heard the expression success leaves clues.
[00:03:40] You can also use that thought process to innovate.
[00:03:42] Maybe you take a look at what's working and combine that with other ideas you see working to come up with innovative products and services and ideas.
[00:03:50] Now, here's another thing.
[00:03:51] How about your personal relationships?
[00:03:53] How could you be innovative in that super important area of your life?
[00:03:56] How could you think outside the box and be creative and innovative and rock the world for your significant other?
[00:04:02] How could you innovate and create magic moments with your children?
[00:04:05] There's always a way to do it better and you just have to find it.
[00:04:08] Innovation is really nothing more than change which creates new value.
[00:04:11] You have to try new things and you have to be willing to be misunderstood.
[00:04:15] Sometimes you have to see what everyone else is seeing but see it differently.
[00:04:18] Maybe think about how you could leverage technology.
[00:04:21] Like I said, AI is just extraordinary.
[00:04:23] Chat GPT blows my mind.
[00:04:25] You know, I love what Steve Jobs said when he was alive, which is the ones who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones that do.
[00:04:32] Rather than predicting the future, why don't you just go create it, my friend?
[00:04:35] So the best way I know to tap into your creativity and become an innovator is to be working in something you love.
[00:04:41] Working in your passion.
[00:04:42] The passion is the key to consistent and relentless innovation.
[00:04:45] When you work in what you love, you never work another day in your life.
[00:04:49] And of course you're passionate and passion is required to influence people as well.
[00:04:52] Now it's important to realize that you'll never change or influence the world trying to be like everyone else.
[00:04:57] So I encourage you, be an innovator.
[00:05:00] When you do what you're truly capable of, you're going to blow your freaking mind.
[00:05:03] So get out there, dream big, think outside the box and innovate that incredible life of your dreams, my friend.
[00:05:09] I'm Rod Khleif wishing you incredible passion and massive success in your business and in your life
[00:05:14] because you innovated.
