[00:00:00] [SPEAKER_00]: Do you feel like you're courageous? Are you taking action towards your goals and your dreams by pushing through any fear that you have or limiting beliefs that you have with courage?

[00:00:08] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage happens to be the topic of this week's Own Your Power clip. And why? Because courage is such an incredibly important topic in high performance and in anyone's success.

[00:00:17] [SPEAKER_00]: So let me ask you this, do you know what vehicle you plan to use to build that life you want for you and your family?

[00:00:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Now if you think it could be real estate, I'm going to tell you there's incredible opportunity coming in commercial real estate.

[00:00:28] [SPEAKER_00]: It could be the greatest transfer of wealth we've seen in our lifetimes.

[00:00:31] [SPEAKER_00]: If it is real estate, I sure hope you're registered for my three-day live multifamily boot camp in Orlando.

[00:00:37] [SPEAKER_00]: It's in Orlando, November 8th, 9th and 10th and it'll be three incredible days of learning and networking.

[00:00:43] [SPEAKER_00]: There'll be upwards of a thousand people there.

[00:00:45] [SPEAKER_00]: You see, this is the only live in-person boot camp I do each year.

[00:00:49] [SPEAKER_00]: And you'll leave with all the tools and resources you need in those three days to build that life you and your family deserve by learning how to buy multifamily properties.

[00:00:57] [SPEAKER_00]: And it's not a big sales pitch like other events. It's just pure training for three days.

[00:01:01] [SPEAKER_00]: And I promise you'll love it. I keep it very interesting and it's packed with content.

[00:01:06] [SPEAKER_00]: So stop waiting. Take massive action.

[00:01:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Embrace the courage you know is inside of you and come spend a few days with me in Orlando.

[00:01:13] [SPEAKER_00]: I promise you'll be glad you came.

[00:01:15] [SPEAKER_00]: The tickets are ridiculously reasonable.

[00:01:17] [SPEAKER_00]: And if you don't love the event, I'll give you your money back.

[00:01:19] [SPEAKER_00]: I don't mean like it. I mean love it.

[00:01:21] [SPEAKER_00]: So no excuses.

[00:01:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Text BOOTCAMP to 72345 or go to rodinorlando.com

[00:01:27] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't miss this once a year opportunity.

[00:01:29] [SPEAKER_00]: Again, text BOOTCAMP to 72345 or go to rodinorlando.com and I'll see you there.

[00:01:36] [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, let's get to it.

[00:01:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Today I want to talk about the power that comes into your life when you tap into and embrace your courage.

[00:01:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Anyone that's success at anything has pushed through fear and limiting beliefs utilizing that courage.

[00:01:49] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage comes from the Latin word core which means heart.

[00:01:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Now we've all seen incredible examples of courage throughout our lifetimes.

[00:01:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Examples of people that maybe risked their own lives to save others

[00:02:00] [SPEAKER_00]: or people that survived and persevered in the face of really tough conditions or incredible odds.

[00:02:05] [SPEAKER_00]: We've heard about those heroes in battle or in sports or even heroes in business.

[00:02:10] [SPEAKER_00]: And we see these people who've done courageous things that may cause us to say to ourselves,

[00:02:15] [SPEAKER_00]: how could they possibly accomplish that?

[00:02:17] [SPEAKER_00]: Or how were they able to make things happen or push forward in the face of that much adversity?

[00:02:21] [SPEAKER_00]: These are people that have inspired us by showing us incredible examples of courage.

[00:02:26] [SPEAKER_00]: Now when you witness examples like this, don't forget that in those situations,

[00:02:30] [SPEAKER_00]: it wasn't that fear wasn't there.

[00:02:32] [SPEAKER_00]: But instead someone decided to push through in spite of that fear.

[00:02:37] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is seeing that fear and looking at that fear and just pushing it to the side

[00:02:41] [SPEAKER_00]: because you've got things to do.

[00:02:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is beginning and taking that first step even when you don't see the whole road.

[00:02:47] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage could be deciding to be yourself even when the entire world might be telling you to be someone else.

[00:02:53] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is getting back up when you've had your nose bloodied or been knocked down

[00:02:56] [SPEAKER_00]: or even when you failed.

[00:02:58] [SPEAKER_00]: Sometimes courage can be just standing up and speaking for what you believe in.

[00:03:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage might be standing up for someone else who's being bullied or abused

[00:03:06] [SPEAKER_00]: or standing up for something that you believe in.

[00:03:09] [SPEAKER_00]: See, courage is allowing yourself to be afraid and feeling the fear but taking action anyway.

[00:03:14] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is recognizing that fear, even acknowledging it,

[00:03:17] [SPEAKER_00]: but realizing that something else is much more important than that fear.

[00:03:21] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is getting uncomfortable because that's where your incredible,

[00:03:24] [SPEAKER_00]: magnificent life is found outside your comfort zone.

[00:03:27] [SPEAKER_00]: You see, so many people fear failure when instead they should fear regret.

[00:03:30] [SPEAKER_00]: I've spoken with pastors and hospice nurses who've told me that one of the most important things they hear

[00:03:35] [SPEAKER_00]: when they're comforting people at the end of their lives are the regrets they bring up

[00:03:38] [SPEAKER_00]: for the actions they didn't take or for the things they didn't do while they were alive.

[00:03:43] [SPEAKER_00]: Don't have a life that ends up with any regrets, my friend.

[00:03:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Build your courage and take massive action.

[00:03:48] [SPEAKER_00]: And know this, courage is a muscle that can be built just like any other muscle.

[00:03:52] [SPEAKER_00]: We shouldn't expect to have incredible courage just magically show up in our lives.

[00:03:56] [SPEAKER_00]: Courage is built by pushing yourself a little bit at a time.

[00:03:59] [SPEAKER_00]: It might start just by practicing standing up for yourself or maybe taking action on the small things that once scared you.

[00:04:05] [SPEAKER_00]: That's how you build that courage muscle.

[00:04:07] [SPEAKER_00]: And I believe it's important to note things that do scare you and you'll realize in many instances

[00:04:12] [SPEAKER_00]: you've already done a lot of those things and done them more than once.

[00:04:15] [SPEAKER_00]: So don't be afraid of them.

[00:04:16] [SPEAKER_00]: It's also important to remember that we'll do more for others than we'll ever do for ourselves

[00:04:19] [SPEAKER_00]: and you can use that dynamic to build more courage in yourself.

[00:04:23] [SPEAKER_00]: Focus on your family, take courage, take that first step to create the life of their dreams.

[00:04:29] [SPEAKER_00]: It's important to acknowledge to yourself the times you push through discomfort or fear to do something with courage.

[00:04:34] [SPEAKER_00]: You can also find role models or courageous people that you can identify with.

[00:04:38] [SPEAKER_00]: That way when you're trying to push through something that you find fearful,

[00:04:41] [SPEAKER_00]: you can align yourself with courageous people that have already done it.

[00:04:45] [SPEAKER_00]: Your peer group is very important as it relates to your courage.

[00:04:48] [SPEAKER_00]: You have to be sure to surround yourself with people that take action in spite of their fears

[00:04:52] [SPEAKER_00]: and you'll get that courage by association.

[00:04:54] [SPEAKER_00]: This is why my warrior coaching program is so incredible.

[00:04:57] [SPEAKER_00]: They do those deals together and they inspire each other.

[00:05:00] [SPEAKER_00]: So my friend, try something new.

[00:05:02] [SPEAKER_00]: Say what's truly in your heart.

[00:05:04] [SPEAKER_00]: Go somewhere you've never been before

[00:05:05] [SPEAKER_00]: or speak with someone you've never spoken with before.

[00:05:09] [SPEAKER_00]: Remembering that these small acts of courage build that muscle

[00:05:11] [SPEAKER_00]: so that when you really need to take action on something extraordinary,

[00:05:15] [SPEAKER_00]: you won't hesitate.

[00:05:16] [SPEAKER_00]: Now if you have the courage to start, you have the courage to succeed.

[00:05:19] [SPEAKER_00]: Eleanor Roosevelt said, you have to do the thing you think you can't do.

[00:05:22] [SPEAKER_00]: Walt Disney said, all our dreams come true if we just have the courage to pursue them.

[00:05:27] [SPEAKER_00]: So my friend, inhale courage, exhale fear.

[00:05:30] [SPEAKER_00]: Be bold, be brave, take risks, take massive action

[00:05:34] [SPEAKER_00]: and go build that incredible life of your dreams.

[00:05:37] [SPEAKER_00]: I'm Rod Khleif wishing you incredible passion

[00:05:39] [SPEAKER_00]: and massive success in your business and in your life

[00:05:42] [SPEAKER_00]: because you push through with courage.
