Jeff has over 35 years of industry experience. He is currently Managing Director. He is experienced in all phases of insurance, which specific expertise in real estate, workers compensation, entertainment, high net worth individual risk management and alternative risk financing such as captives and loss-sensitive plans. Jeff uses his experience with private equity firms to enhance his clients’ overall financial and operational performance.
Recently IOA’s Los Angeles Real Estate Practice Team, which includes Aaron Cohen, has placed over $4 Billion of Real Estate since the 4th quarter of last year.
Prior to IOA Insurance Services, Jeff was in multiple senior positions at USI Insurance Services. Through his proficiency in sales management and organization of over 100 agency mergers and acquisitions, he helped increase company revenues from $6.5 million to over $600 million. As a Senior VP and Chief Marketing Officer, Jeff was responsible for all sales and marketing from 2002 to 2007. Additionally, he assisted into taking the company public, then back to private five years later when Goldman Sachs Capital Partners acquired it.
Aaron Cohen is a Risk Advisor and Insurance Broker, with IOA. He’s active across Real Estate, Tech, Hospitality, and Emerging Industries, to provide a more consultative approach to risk management for clients and partners. He’s a Los Angeles native and Lakers fan.
