Multifamily Podcast Network

One of the best ways to build a strong network of like minded investors and create a thought leadership platform is by hosting a meetup. Heard the phrase, "Your net worth is equal to your network?" Commercial real estate investing is a relationship business and relationships are forged through networking. However, effective networking is an art form and a required skillset.

Our special guest on today's episode is Jamie Gruber, Co-founder and President of the Multifamily & More Real Estate Investing Community. The Multifamily & More community is now a nationally recognized meetup brand with over 20 chapters and 8,000 members spanning across the major US. Through this network, Jamie helps meetup group leaders develop a framework for their networking events that are content driven, intentfull,  and relationship focused to promote an effective networking environment that keeps people wanting more.

Jamie is a career W2 employee in the insurance business who found his start in real estate when he became an accidental landlord. Feeling a void after 20 years in the W2, Jamie read Rich Dad/Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki for the second time which prompted him to focus his efforts on building a portfolio of cash flow producing real estate. After being disappointed with the local REIA meetings he was attending, he sought out to become the "multifamily guy" in his local market. It was through that ambition that led him and his partner to start the Multifamily & More Meetup brand and through his networking yielded him his first multifamily deal. Jamie is now a general partner in 42 units and a networking leader in the multifamily  community.
